Amy Layton

Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Yoga Teacher

Amy is an empathic, warm therapist who is committed to working with her clients in a multi-disciplinary way. She views each client as an individual and aims to cater to the needs her clients. 

Her therapeutic approach draws knowledge and experience from areas including; Person-Centred Practice, Yoga and Mindfulness. She hopes that the therapeutic space will allow a safe place for individuals to reconnect with their Body-Mind.

Amy has had experience working for the Butterfly Foundation For Eating Disorders, as part of the Support Services team as well as working for the National Eating Disorders Collaboration (NEDC) as a member of the Research Team.

She has always been passionate about being involved in the community through her work with in mental health with the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation, working with the the Department of Education as a Primary School teacher in both New South Wales and Queensland school,  as well as involvement teaching in Dance and Performance schools.

Amy holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Counselling), Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) and has completed 500hrs of Yoga Teacher Training Level 2.

Jacqueline Byrne

Director - Wings & Quill
Counselling & Narrative Psychotherapist 

Jacqueline is an accredited psychotherapist and is also educated in holistic nutrition. Specialising in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image distortion and anxiety disorders, Jacqueline supports clients in addressing core behaviour structures and belief patterns behind presenting symptoms in a holistic framework to allow the therapeutic process to be an avenue for healing and transformation. 

Jacqueline is a beautiful soul, that I have had the pleasure of working and collaborating with at the Butterfly Foundation and in Collaboration of an online support space (Coming to you in 2016). We have a joint goal of supporting those impacted by eating disorders in an holistic and empathic way & breaking down some of the barriers and stigmas that exist.

Kate Schubert

Director - Connect the Dots
Gestalt Therapist & Yoga Teacher

Kate holds a Bachelor of Social Science(Counselling) is a qualified Yoga teacher and is nearing to the end of her Masters of Gestalt Psychotherapy. She has experience working in Disability, Youth work with Eating disorders at The Butterfly Foundation.

Kate is an incredibly warm, compassionate and nurturing individual who is passionate about integration, authenticity and connecting the dots for others to become the best versions of themselves.

Kate and I are interested in exploring the ways in which yoga might be able to offer additional support.
